So things have been going from bad to worse for comedian Katt Williams. About a month ago, he was yanked as the host of the BET Hip Hop Awards and replaced by T-Pain. Then on election night, he was scheduled to appear on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, after no showing, it was reported that Katt was picked up for carrying a firearm. Then last week, it was reported that Williams had been admitted to a North Carolina mental institution for evaluation (Click here to read the entire story **LINK TO: http://www.streetcred.com/?page=news/entry&id=917**).

Since then, we haven't heard about Katt's status and if he still under evaluation. But something has come to light that shows the state of mind of Williams prior to his admittance. A local news station in NC was sent a video of a local motel where Katt allegedly tried to check in just prior to him being taken in.

Dude was trying to check into the motel in a bath robe? Really?!?!?!? Not to mention that he was talking about how he had 17 rooms at the Trump plaza and how much money he made last year. Wow....this just does not look good for Katt. Remember Martin Lawrence running down Ventura Blvd. butt a** nekkid screaming "THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL ME!!!!"? Remember Richard Pryor setting himself on fire?? And how about Dave Chappelle booking it for Africa? There something about our comedian's that drives them nuts, we don't know what it is. Maybe it's something in the water.

Nobody knows where Katt is right now. It isn't clear if he is still admitted to the hospital and still under evaluation. Or if he has been released. If he is still being evaluated inside the mental institution, then something has to be seriously wrong. Evaluations usually last no longer than 48 hours and anything past that could be considered serious.
