Tip has been pretty quiet when it comes to his "kind of beef" with D4L front man Shawty Lo. It has pretty much been just Shawty Lo taking shots at Tip with TI just ignoring it and staying above it all. Check out Shawty Lo's most recent video below:

Since this was almost the 4th video of Shawty Lo talking about the beef, we thought for sure Tip was going to retaliate this time. For a second, it looked as though we might have been wrong but not so fast. After all, this is a game of chess....not checkers. So this weekend TI had a show in Wichita, KS and took some time to address the situation with Shawty Lo. Check out what one of our Street talkers who was at the show sent us:

i went to the show a few days ago at the wichita coliseum to see ti and akon. when ti came out, the one thing he kept talking about in between every song was the haters. he kept saying how you need haters in life and you only know you are successful when you got a ton of haters on your back. he talked about how he had haters all over the globe and that he has so many haters we could take some of his haters for him. then he said that shawty lo and his crew can keep hating and fu** them. then he did his last song which was "live your life". it was a real live shw and ti killed it.

Well....it was bound to happen sooner or later. Shawty Lo was just doing way too much to not warrant a response. You can't come with video after video after video and then with diss track after diss track after diss track and expect Tip to not address the situation. We're glad Tip did so and we think dude went about it the right way. Using this as a lead in to "Live Your Life" was pretty damn smart as well. That track fits perfectly and is something Shawty should take to memory. Just let it go man, does it really matter that much?
